Dave Walker, Research Director and Founder, is the visionary for EduFX and a tireless advocate for improving the US educational system.
With over twenty-five years of engineering and computer technology experience, Dave is an expert on software development processes and the integration of cutting-edge technologies. He recently served as Vice President of Technology at BrainCo, and previously served as Technical Director at Electronic Arts, where he pioneered the codification of technical design practices and managed the technical development of all EAKids Edutainment products, as well as such notable titles as
John Madden Football, NHL Hockey,
and
Ultima Online II
.
Dave also worked in software engineering at Adobe Systems, managing a key cross application, core technology project, and acted as an independent management and engineering consultant to emerging companies. He has taught computer graphics and programming at local universities and corporations, and has been a regular speaker at the Computer Game Developers' Conference.
Dave served as an Officer of the US Air Force. Before retiring from service, he managed the operations of two military spacecraft programs, including over 100 military and civilian personnel. Dave received a BS in Electrical Engineering from California State University.
